Christmas Markets
There aren't that many Christmas Markets in Iceland and subsequently we only list a couple on this site, but they are very keen to attract visitors from the UK and Europe to this Icelandic Xmas Market extravaganza. It's located just outside Reykjavik so visitors can coincide this visit to an Icelandic Christmas Market with a long weekend in Iceland.
Christmas in Iceland is very important. There are 13 separate Santa Clauses who play pranks and sing in the beautifully illuminated streets.
