Miss J Bedford - Dec 2010 “My partner and I were uncertain all week if we were going to be travelling to what promised to be a most luxurious weekend in Basel, Switzerland. Snow had severely disrupted all of the UK but we quickly rearranged our travel to the airport arrangements the day before and as promised in the prize we weren’t disappointed. There was no waiting for usual transport at our arrival airport to take us to our destination but a chauffeur driven Bentley. Our 5 star hotel Les Trois Rois with deluxe accommodation was magnificent and the staff so attentive. The breakfasts, afternoon tea and 4 course dinner were sumptuous. We’ve never had champagne before for breakfast. Another treat at the hotel was a neck massage for myself and my partner had a foot massage which we both thoroughly recommend. On occasions it was raining so we used the tram to take us to the Christmas markets where we were put in the festive spirit with the warm Gluhwein and the atmosphere with stalls galore. Another visit was to the Johann Wanner Christmas shop where we were transported back to memories of our childhood seeing the type of decorations which once adorned our Christmas trees. They sell every type of decorations and can understand why their customers are world famous. The magical part of Christmas had been a long forgotten memory until I arrived in Basel. The market itself was very enjoyable, full of interesting things to buy that you don’t see in our country. We choose a good weekend to go, as it covered St Nicholas’s day and there were extra special celebrations. Everything was very well organized – thank you so much, we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more!”

Europa Park Competition – Terms & Conditions – Oct / Nov 2011

1. Open to UK and RoI residents aged 18 and over, except employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion. No purchase necessary.
2. Anyone can enter online at www.christmasmarkets.com. There is only one prize on offer.
3. Photocopies, entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or entries automatically generated by computer, incomplete, incorrect or illegible entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions will not be accepted.
4. Promoter does not accept responsibility whatsoever for entries lost or delayed, corrupted or not received. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
5. The prize is 2 admission tickets to Europa-Park, for use at the park between 1st December 2011 and 8th January 2012.
6. All entries received by midnight on 30th November 2011 will be entered into the competition. No entries will be carried forward into sub sequent competitions.
7. All valid entries will entered into the competition and one winner will be picked at random. The judging panel's decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
8. The winner will be notified by telephone within five days after the winner has been picked.
9. No cash or other prize alternatives are available, except that in the event of circumstances its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value.
10. The winner may be required to take part in publicity related to the promotion.
