Christmas Markets in Innsbruck
Christmas markets, ancient Tyrolean customs, Christmas concerts and Advent events are a distinctive part of the pre-Christmas period in Innsbruck and its holiday villages. A daily attraction are the „Turmbläser“, a brass orchestra, which plays old christmas songs from the city tower, just beside the market (5:30pm).
In Innsbruck’s picturesque medieval Old Town, beneath the world famous Golden Roof, you will find the city’s main Christmas market with countless stalls decked out with Christmas decoration, local wood and glass crafts, Tyrolean loden cloths and much more goodies. The market is open daily from November 18 to December 28, 11am to 8 pm and on Christmas-Eve from 11 am to 3 p.m.
