FREE Car Parking (in the farm yard & a stubble field)
There can’t be a better reason to visit the North Norfolk Coast in the Winter, when over 130 local artisans and producers gather for one of East Anglia’s best seasonal markets.
Look out for tasty treats, wreaths, cheese, penguin pictures, soaps, homewares, biscuits, chutneys, jewellery, accessories, toys, books, salamis, tea, beer, cordials, glass, bags, photographs … Something for every budget, every present list, and every taste.
This year there will be lots more food. Deepdale Cafe, pizzas, pies, crepes, duck wraps, mulled wine, hot chocolate, burgers, real ales, sloe gin, Christmas punch, brownies … You definitely won’t go hungry or thirsty, plenty of places to refuel to continue with the Christmas shopping.
As always, entrance is FREE to the event, so no emptying your pockets before the shopping begins. And as usual, there is FREE car parking in the farm yard of Deepdale Farm and in a grass field on Dalegate Lane. The Coasthopper bus also drops off right outside the door.

•ProsThis is easily the best Christmas market! Why? Because not only is there an abundance of stalls, selling beautiful hand made gifts, there's also talented singers and musicians round the site, keeping everyone entertained.

•ProsThankyou very much for a fabulous weekend, the market was brimming with great stalls, and really happy festive atmosphere, saw lots of old friends and made some new ones, also got the privilege of meeting a great man who was celebrating his 100th birthday on the Saturday of the market, he really enjoyed himself and had an Irish coffee and a chat then stood in the que for a pie. Thanks again for a brilliant weekend

•ProsWhat a really lovely Christmas fayre which takes over the whole village! This was my first visit and I discovered that there were 5 areas this year (2019), each full with local stallholders selling gorgeous products. There really is something for everyone here. Oh, and the fact that its FREE and has FREE parking is the icing on the cake! Talking of cake - and food in general - there are plenty of places offering fresh, hot food & beverages to purchase and eat right away for lunch. Yum! Its fantastic to get away from the big multinationals online and buy local x
ConsThe ground is uneven so difficult for wheelchair users, pushchairs and those unsteady on their feet. And its November so its COLD so remember to layer up! Brrrrr
DalegateMarket
•Hi Jennifer. Sorry about the ground not being completely even, we keep editing each year to improve access, so hope things will improve for anyone without pneumatic tyres. Hope to see you in 2020.
