•ProsWe have been to the Christmas Market several years running, and thoroughly enjoy it every time. Good stalls, sensible prices, small rides for the children and plenty to see. If I have a reservation at all it is that this year (2014) the Characters wondering about the event did not interact with people or each other in the loud, outrageous way they have done in the past. Which is a pity. They make all the difference. Having said that, there seemed to be more stalls, and visitors, this year, 2014, which gave the place a buzz. It is a very good-natured, family friendly event.

•ProsAbsolutely awesome experience! We've been last year to the Christmas market at Portsmouth Dockyard, while making a trip around the UK. There must have been literally hundreds of people in Victorian costume wandering around in the artificial snow. Not only put me in the mood for Christmas, but I got half of my Christmas shopping done too! I'd definitely go back

•ProsWe have been going to the festival of Christmas for the last few years and it gets better every year. There are loads of stalls selling a variety of gifts and crafts, loads of Victorian characters and the snow covered street! The atmosphere is always fantastic and really gets our Christmas started! Add to that all the attractions being included with your ticket (Victory, Warrior etc) and it makes for a really full day out.
