Nottingham Winter Wonderland 2017 – Christmas Market, Ice Rink, Ice Bar & Sur La Piste Bar
Located in the Market Square directly off the Old Market Square tram stop, this year’s Nottingham Winter Wonderland experience has expanded further and sees the introduction of several stunning new attractions, including the stunning new Sur La Piste Winter Bar and Ice Bar experience.
This never before seen attraction is the place to be and where the party will truly be this Christmas! The new double deck, French ski lodge-inspired bar will certainly give you a warm cosy feeling should you be cold outside. There is a whole host of live entertainment booked throughout the Christmas period, ranging from Christmas songs in the daytime, to electric Violins, with style and sophistication in abundance on Friday and Saturday evenings. Table service is also available.
The Après Ski / after work vibe is not to be missed. It’s a big part of the Alps coming into the city for the winter. Urban Après Ski at its best. If that’s not enough excitement, the bar will be the first bar in the city to serve fresh, unpasteurized beer! Straight from the distillery in the Czech Republic to us within 3 days, no pasteurisation, no added chemicals, it’s just pure lager from the oldest distillery in Europe. A taste to behold for beer lovers.
After the successful introduction of the city’s first ever Ice Bar last year, we are doubling the size of it, and bringing it back! With lots of Ice sculptures and scenery to keep you entertained (be sure to take a camera), and a Vodka bar where we give you the shots in actual ice glasses, there’s a little something for everyone. The Ice Bar requires you to purchase an admission ticket though, so it is advised to pre-book to avoid disappointment.
The Real Ice Rink will once again be a central feature. If you have ever fancied gliding your way around the city’s Christmas Tree, gracefully on the ice, then look no further!
You can skate from the age of 4 so book online here to avoid disappointment.
Tickets are sold on arrival as well, however, numbers are limited.
