This weekend, 01 to 03 Dec 2017, is the biggest event of Deepdale’s year and we’d love you to join us on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Here are some top reasons for joining us:
We want you to enjoy your visit to Deepdale Christmas Market and feel you’ll enjoy it more if your wallet isn’t empty before you enter.
FREE Car Parking
To encourage customers to park in the car parks rather than on the roads, we offer free car parking. Please follow the signs and the team will show you were to park.
Escape the humdrum of the high street chains
We have a fantastic range of artisans and producers joining us this year. There are over 120 stalls across the site, all selling products that you won’t find in the usual high street stores.
Entertainment all weekend
We’ve put together another great weekend of live music and entertainment. You’ll find music on the Dalegate Stage, Orchard Stage, Backpackers Stage and in St Mary’s Church.
Very very tasty food & drink
There is plenty of lovely food and drink around the site so that you wont go hungry. From burgers to duck wraps, falafels to crepes, chocolate brownies to pies, you’ll find plenty to keep you going while you complete your Christmas shopping.
You’ll also find a great range of food and drink for the festive season, included cured meats, liqueurs, biscotti, puddings, cheese, saffron, fudge, chocolates, beers, cider and more.
Under cover – Shopping whatever the weather
The vast majority of the stalls at Deepdale Christmas Market are under cover, so you can enjoy your shopping what ever the weather. There are the permanent shops and cafe of Dalegate Market. The stalls are housed in three large marquees around the shops of Dalegate Market, in the Brick Barn and in St Mary’s Church.
Support a local charity
We are very pleased to be supporting some excellent charities at the Deepdale Christmas Market. The RSPB, Wells Community Hospital Trust (Friday only) and Brancaster Primary School (Saturday & Sunday) will all be running stalls over the weekend.
The crew of Deepdale Backpackers & Camping are running a cafe in the backpackers courtyard in aid of Crisis. St Mary’s Church will be offering hot drinks and home made cakes amongst the pews.
On the beautiful North Norfolk Coast
If you haven’t already discovered the beautiful countryside around Burnham Deepdale, then why not combine your visit to Deepdale Christmas Market with some exploration.
We recommend a walk on one of the stunning beaches, a stroll along the Norfolk Coast Path, take in the views from Barrow Common.
Combine with some location history
If a wander in the countryside isn’t for you, then why not combine your shopping with some local history. You could start with St Mary’s Church, which is hosting Deepdale Christmas Market stalls. Have a look at the Norman font, Saxon roundtower and stained glass windows. St Mary’s is part of the Saxon shore churches, a group of historic churches along the coast.
Get into the festive season
We look forward to you joining us to start the festive season. Come along on Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December anytime between 10am and 5pm.

Frequently asked questions
What are the Car Parking arrangements?
We open up our farm yard and a couple of grass fields for car parking.
We have a new one way system this year, which we hope will reduce congestion, please follow the signs and our parking team will show you where to go.
Please don’t park where there are no waiting cones, to help with traffic management.
Are Dogs welcome?
Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome. Please note that the event can become crowded at busy times, so dogs may not enjoy the experience.
Is Cash available at the market?
Unfortunately some lovely individuals borrowed the cash point on a permanent basis and so there isn’t cash available. Please bring what you need, and most of the stalls will accept credit cards.
Do stalls accept Credit Cards?
We’ve upgraded our broadband service and so most stalls have the option of accepting credit cards.
Are there places to eat at Deepdale Christmas Market?
We have more than 10 food outlets including Deepdale Cafe, street food, hot drinks and charity cafes so you have plenty of choice.
Is there Disabled Access at the market?
We have an area closer to the market for blue badge holders to park. Please note that the site is quite spread out and it is a temporary event so some of the marquees stand on gravel.
Are there particularly busy times?
Traditionally Saturday lunchtime has been the busiest time of the market.
